Still trying to navigate this “body after baby...” situation. Second time around & it’s not easy. I don’t think it ever is, no matter how hard we tell ourselves it doesn’t matter. .
It’s been hard because of my perfectionist tendencies. 💓👇 There are so many times over the last 2.5 weeks I’ve looked in the mirror amazed at how incredible the human body is. There are other times I’ve looked at myself, pointed out a negative & wished it would be a quicker process to bounce back. .
Sharing these raw thoughts because I KNOW other women can relate. It doesn’t matter if you’re one day postpartum or 1 year. There are always things we can point out...things we want to improve. Whether it’s losing weight, gaining confidence, embracing the body wholeheartedly...it’s THERE. The pressure we put on ourselves as mamas. As women. .
I want you to know..that NO MATTER where you’re at in your journey. Postpartum, pregnancy, everything else in between...it’s simple FREAKING BEAUTIFUL. So we have some lose skin, dimples in our legs, crazy looking boobs...🤪 EMBRACE it. Love it hard because when your baby looks up at you...you’re reminded of the journey. At the end of the day, it’s about knowing you’ve gave it your best, that you’re loved & that you matter. The rest of the results are a by-product. .
I’m wanting to help 10 imperfect mamas regain confidence, learn to love yourself again & get results that MEAN something to you. Whether it’s focusing on mindset, fitness or nutrition. Each area holds beauty & meaning. Well learn how to love where we are, but also dial in to where we want to go, together. ❤️ .
