It was the bag that had you pause huh?😉😉 Seriously though "the girls" are the first thing to go when you drop 25lbs. 🤷‍♀️ .
In high school I was told very clearly what the "perfect body" should look like. For years I worked my butt off on cardio for hours, starved and tried to achieve it. The bottom line~ in order to attain "the look" I would need medical modifications. God bless🤦‍♀️ {No offense to anyone who's had medical modifications because I'm for everyone making their own decisions. But DO NOT let someone else's opinion dictate your health or body image.} .
At 25 when I gained 60 lbs with my first kiddo it only compounded the self-hate. Even though I had married an incredible human being that loved me no matter what the scale said... that "perfect body" image slipped farther & farther away.
20 + years, two birth children, a lot of PD and a good dose of reality later and I'm stronger and healthier than I have ever been.
Please remember to love yourself just the way you were created. To speak to yourself the way that you would speak to another person. Take care of your body with good nutrition & love. It will respond!❤
And don't be afraid to lift weights. 😉

apparently my dog is an escape artist and managed to open the door to her crate while I went out for 45 minutes.
I hadn’t left the house since Friday afternoon when I brought her home and I needed to get groceries.
We worked on crate training for two days straight (yes, I know it takes time) but I figured she was good.
NOPE🤣

Her happy butt met me at the front door.
Thankfully she didn’t get into anything or go to the bathroom in the house, so I’m going to look at the positive here 🤷🏼‍♀️
She is not afraid of the crate, just does not like to be away from me...AT ALL.
I love her to death, but this mama refuses to be a prisoner in her own home.
She is SUPER smart so she trains easily, and again, I know this takes time, but if you have any tips to ease this transition, PLEASE help me!

Weddings give me ALL the feels. I cry over all the love ❤
Today, my boyfriend spent the day looking at weddng venues online... I asked him if he was confused because the engagement comes first 😂🤦‍♀️ Maybe it's not as far off as I expected? 
Last night, I apparently didn't shy away from the camera, which was highly unusual. But I'm here for it ❤
This past week with all of the festivities and such... it was a mess. So I am very excited to restart and reset tomorrow.

Played catch up today since I’ve been all out of whack since my birthday 🙄😬😖 did core inferno and upbeat strength tonight after about 45 minutes of procrastinating.. I finally pushed play and got to it. Then I had the best upbeat strength workout I’ve had since I started this program! 👏🏼🙌🏼 I went up FIVE POUNDS in my weight for 2 of the moves! 😱 I have been so scared to even try the next weight up I have and I just didn’t switch it out for the next set and I DID IT! It was difficult but it HAPPENED! As soon as I started getting frustrated Jericho said “if you feel like you can’t finish these last 4 reps, then you’re doing it right” and I realized my fear has helps me from progressing up in my weights. I flip flop between the smaller weights and think I’ve had a great workout but today I realized I’ve just been having “okayish” weighted workouts. And even though the changes aren't quite noticable to others just yet, the changes I do see and feel in myself are keeping me motivated! We had an absolute BLAST last week on vacation ☀️ but my body is ready to go back to my healthy eating 😉🥦🥑

I whipped up this meal prep after little man went to bed😴 (which was about 30 min ago bc he’s still in vacay mode 🕺🏼). I can honestly say I am looking FORWARD to tomorrow and for all this food 😍 I love having meals and snacks ready to go so I can stay on track and stay properly fueled throughout the day💃🏼

A simple #beachbody 💪🏼 recipe foiled by my not paying attention at the grocery store because going grocery shopping alone can riddle me with anxiety enough to just buy the wrong meat - or just not pay attention...BUT this chicken meatloaf turned out pretty grand.  It’s time for warm comfy foods with some tweaking.  So, here’s a healthy brick of meat chalk full of veggies and covered in 💯 organic tomato sauce to fuel my dinners this week!

I'm GRATEFUL that my son loves his new home and has a wonderful "Bemidji Mom" in @chelsee_strand to watch over him. I'm GRATEFUL that my niece is experiencing things she never would here and that God is challenging her and guiding her every step of the way. I'm GRATEFUL that my nephew and his wife love their home and have a place to build memories that will last forever. I'm GRATEFUL that we have been welcomed into a new church home at Unlock Church and have new opportunities to grow in our walk with Christ.

Things may not always go as planned, but no matter what is thrown at me I am always focused on the things that I am GRATEFUL for.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret 🤫

You cannot give 💯 % in every area of your life. Yup, you read that right! You cannot give 100% to mommin’, 100% to being a great wife, 100% to your job, etc... .

If you know me, I wear many hats: wife, mom, friend, mentor, teacher, coach, etc. but not everyday am I winning at all of them. Some days I rock as a teacher but have many mom fails! There are days when I am Killin it as a mom but loving on my hubby falls short. There are days when I’m checking in with all my girls but my house works falls to the wayside. .

So how do you choose what you’re going to rock at each day? Some days you can set your intentions and dedicate your time and energy to certain areas and other days life happens and you have to wing it. But on thing you can do is—>> Try and do better than you did the day before. Don’t get upset that you didn’t rock it as a mom today, just set some time aside tomorrow to dedicate just to your kids with no distractions. .

This past week I knew my intentions for the week and I stuck to them. I knew my main focus was homecoming and my own mental health. Did that mean that some areas of my life got pushed aside>>>YUP! Did I feel guilty>>> NOPE! Now that homecoming is over I can revisit those areas that may have been pushed to the side and spend a little more time on them then I did last week. I no longer sit in regret because I set my bar so high for myself that it was unreachable! I’m totally all for giving it 100%, but be clear in what you are giving 100% to. .

Know that your are only human—>> Not superwoman! You cannot do all things! Give yourself some grace, love yourself, and try better the next day ❤️❤️

Finished workouts 67 to 69 this weekend of #mm100 !  That was my face after finishing #fightclub - workout 68!  A Facebook memory with a photo of me from a year ago - 10 lbs lighter - popped up today. My first reaction was to hate on myself - for so many different reasons. But I took a deep breath and realized I am not the same person I was in that picture - putting aside the physical. I am better than I was a year ago!  The old me would have probably thrown in the towel when the weight started creeping back on last Christmas but the accountability group and coaching team I belong to have been instrumental in keeping me jumping back on the proverbial bandwagon.  I kept moving forward.  Does my nutrition still need work? Absafuckinglutely! Long term change doesn’t happen overnight - but it will happen as long as you DO NOT QUIT! This morning before anything else I completed Day 52/100 and 53/100💪

I am carrying the same amount of weight in both of these pictures. The difference is that today 77 pounds of it is my son. The crazy part is that back then, I didn’t think I needed to change anything. My current wife, @sabrinabraus really motivated me to  be healthier, and for that I am eternally grateful. 56/100: Ugh. 😐 I skipped yesterday’s workout because my back was killing me. Spent the night on the couch with the heating pad & this morning it felt SO much better! So I did today’s workout & the plan was to do yesterday’s workout after. Started off slow, still felt pretty good, went all in just toned down a bit & yea, had to basically step out a little more than half of my workout. 😩 Time to spend the night with the heating pad & pray it feels better tomorrow! 🙏🏻

The last 56 days have been the hardest days I've faced since starting my journey 6 years ago...yet I've accomplished more mentally than ever before!

For 56 days I've been focused on nothing but crushing my workouts and food, diving into self care and trying to stay alive between working 15+ hour days and travelling for more than half of those 56 days. And in those 56 days I've lost 15lbs, multiple inches and I feel so strong! I honestly never even dreamed I could do this with work being so crazy, but the confidence I've also gained along the way has been life-changing.

I finally gained the strength to chop off my hair and pierce my nose, which I've been contemplating for YEARS! And yet I did it after 56 freaking days.

Its. Your. Turn.

Each set had 2 moves and then combine them.
Triceps press > pull over > combine

Weighted sit up with a twist *always lighten weights and correct  form first! Modify where needed!

"What's next?!"

Today mid workout my husband said "you don't have anymore to lose, when are you going to stop." I of course responded "never". This journey is no longer about weight loss, that goal is met. It's about toning, building baby muscles, and my overall health. I love how my body feels and I plan to keep going. I want to keep pushing myself and see if I could get those abs I've always wanted. I don't want to start putting crud into my body and destroy all the work I've done.

This is not a quick fix thing, it's a lifestyle thing.

We used to workout at the gym together, but it was always such a hassle to drive to the gym with all the onlookers.
He is now able to be at home with me and Adeline and we all use our workout times to be together as a family.
Our morning routine had totally changed. We get our mornings started together.

Because sometimes you have to wait until night to do your morning workout. We were gone this weekend, so I switched workouts and saved yoga for tonight. Glad I did, feeling better after 3 hours in the car.

Meal prep for the week! I used two crockpots, in each I put two chicken breasts. In one I used some Frank’s hot sauce and a little ranch seasoning. In the other, I added a little reduced sodium chicken broth to keep it moist, salt, pepper and garlic powder. I made a bag of @traderjoes mashed cauliflower and separated into four containers! Also, roasted some carrots and broccoli, but I burned most of the broccoli 😂 I’ll figure out what to add in the last container by Friday! What were you doing 8 weeks ago? Me...I was desperate to make a change. Trying everything but exercise due to an injury. I saw some before and after pics of a program that was brand new and thought, I gotta do this. 👊🏼

20-30 min a day with a commitment of working out 10 days at a time. Small goal, just 10 days. 🙌🏼 Then I would take a pic and start another 10 days. I’m now on day 56 and I have gained such a respect for myself and my body. ♥️

With a meal plan, great tools to use and then a coach to guide you into disrupting your shape, you CANNOT go wrong here. 🥰
